Our vision at Lakes Area Christian Fellowship is to develop a community of Christ followers who are dedicated to a lifestyle of service and a desire to grow in the Lord. We strive to make a positive impact by sharing kindness, compassion, and the truth and love of Christ to those around us.

Our History
Primarily meeting in homes, we have intermittently been gathering since the 1990's in the Brainerd Lakes Area of central Minnesota. We are ready to expand and build a Meeting Hall to better meet our needs and serve our neighbors. Lakes Area Christian Fellowship welcomes anyone to join us in passionately pursuing our faith by loving our Lord God and serving others.

Our Future
Our immediate goals are to purchase property and build a place to worship and gather. We will offer worship services, prayer groups, biblical training, and community outreach opportunities. Most importantly, we offer relationship. We gather together to encourage and build each other up as we grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord, who equips us to do His will.
We Believe
First and foremost, we believe that knowing God and being known by Him is our priority. Loving Him with all our hearts, mind, soul, and strength is the greatest commandment. As we behold Him, we are being transformed into his likeness and our minds are renewed. As we present ourselves a living and holy sacrifice, not being conformed to this world, we are proving what the will of God is - that which is good, acceptable, and perfect. We believe Christ lives in us and we live by faith.
We also believe that while we are justified by faith and not works, faith without works is useless. We believe we are His workmanship created in Jesus Christ for good works. We desire to apply all diligence in our faith, with moral excellence, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love. We understand that "people can give without loving but cannot love without giving." To love well, we believe in giving our time and resources to help others in need - to help them break the chains that hold them down. In humility we work to do justice and love kindness.

The Apostles Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty,
